Request an agreement and view its status

To enable your fleet to charge at a third-party site, you need an agreement with the depot operator. As a BGL member, you benefit from the BGL Charge community, as many depot operators offer their own, lower community tariffs to community fleets.

1.Prerequisites

Without an agreement, your fleet cannot charge at third-party sites.

2.Step by step

  1. 1.
First, go to Fleet manager in the top left and then open Agreements in the sidebar.
  2. 2.
Then switch to the Agreement offers tab.

There, you will see the offers for your fleets, including the depot operator's organisation, the fleet, the name of the agreement, the tariffs (i.e., the prices per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electricity), as well as the creation date and the status. Offers that a depot operator has published for the BGL Charge community also appear here.

They are not specifically marked, but many depot operators mention the community in the name of the agreement, for example "BGL internal agreement". The key factor is always the tariff shown in the row, allowing you to compare prices directly.

  3. 3.
There, you will also see the status of agreement offers that you have requested and that the depot operator still needs to review.
  4. 4.
If the list is long, use Filter to narrow down the offers by status, so you can find what you are looking for more quickly.
  5. 5.
Next, in the row of the desired offer, check the fleet, the name of the agreement, and the tariffs before submitting your request.
  6. 6.
Finally, in the Status column for the offer, click on Offered.

3.Result

The depot operator receives an email and sees your request in the portal, where they accept or reject it. You can see how far your request has progressed at any time in the Agreement offers tab.

4.Note

The depot operator determines how requests are accepted with the so-called acceptance mode. With Immediate acceptance, your request is accepted immediately, so you can charge straight away.

With Approve requests, the depot operator reviews your request first and then accepts or rejects it. Until then, the request has the status Approval pending, and during this time you can still withdraw it.

The depot operator alone decides whether an offer applies exclusively to the BGL Charge community. Therefore, a name that does not mention the community does not mean that the offer is not exclusive to members.

The tariff that the depot operator has set for the respective agreement always applies.

Not every site displays an offer for all fleets. If an agreement applies only to selected fleets, or if the site is still in the planning stage, please click Express interest in the site details on the map.

The depot operator will then receive a notification and can add and approve your fleet. You can also use this method to initiate a bilateral price that the depot operator offers exclusively for your fleet.

If, on the other hand, the offer applies to all fleets, click on View agreement offer in the site details and then on Accept agreement.

When you Express interest, describe as specifically as possible how you want to charge, for example intermediate charging during the day and with how many vehicles, because the depot operator decides on your request on this basis.
